My Wood Job Story Since 2000 – A Journey with Timber and Craftsmanship

My journey in the wood industry began in the year 2000. What started as a small step into the world of timber quickly turned into a lifelong passion for quality wood and fine furniture craftsmanship.

In the early days, I worked in a traditional sawmill, learning every detail of wood – from identifying timber types to understanding how it reacts to climate and craftsmanship. I handled raw logs, observed their transformation into planks and beams, and soon realized the true value of precision and patience in timber work.

By 2005, with experience in timber cutting and grading, I stepped into the world of custom furniture making. I learned to combine the natural strength of wood with elegant design, crafting everything from doors and window frames to beautifully carved tables, chairs, and cabinets.

In 2010, I joined Wood Zone Timbers and Furniture, a company dedicated to high-quality timber supply and modern furniture manufacturing. As the business expanded, I grew along with it—eventually becoming a manager, overseeing timber selection, design processes, production flow, and customer satisfaction.

From sourcing premium wood like teak, rosewood, and mahogany to supervising skilled carpenters and machine operators, I’ve built a career focused on quality, durability, and trust. Over the years, I’ve seen the industry evolve—from hand tools to modern CNC machines, from traditional furniture to sleek contemporary designs.

Today, after 25 years in the industry, I take pride in being part of a company that supplies all types of timber sizes and custom furniture solutions to homes, builders, architects, and interior designers across Kerala. My mission has always remained the same: to deliver top-notch timber and furniture that blends nature’s strength with human creativity.
